CHINESE TEA CULTURE TOURS IN JIANGSU
 | Tea culture in China is equal to coffee culture in western countries. Suzhou is the best known place for tea-leaves collection and tea drinking in Jiangsu province. Every year in March, the Biluochun Green Tea Culture Festival is held in Wuzhong District, Suzhou. Among all the mountains, Xishan (West Mountain) and Dongshan (East Mountain) are most famous for tea culture tours, titled the “Farm House Based Tours for Tea Collection and Drinking.” |
The Garden of Flowing Fragrance: The Next Phase
, has been the talk of the town. Visitors, tour groups, special guests, and donors have flocked to The Huntington to enjoy its elegant beauty and to be inspired by the rich tapestry of Chinese architecture, horticulture, poetry, and aesthetics.Since the garden’s inception in 1995, nearly 350 donors have given and pledged $18.3 million to fund the design and construction of the first phase. Another 36 donors have contributed $8.5 million more to seed an increasing array of exciting educational and public programs and to create endowments.
Building on this exceptional momentum, The Huntington is launching a special initiative to raise gifts for the next phase of the Chinese garden and to continue to build operating, program, and endowment funds. Thus far, $750,385 has been received to seed the design and construction fund, enabling June Li, curator of the Chinese garden; Jim Folsom, the Marge and Sherm Telleen Director of the Botanical Gardens; and Laurie Sowd, associate vice president for operations, to work with He Fengchun and Xie Aihua of the Suzhou Institute of Landscape Architectural Design (SILAD) to develop an exceptional plan to further enhance the garden’s aesthetics and programmatic flexibility.
The plans call for completing the northern area with a lake-side performance hall for music, dance, opera, and readings; a large courtyard; a small climate-controlled and secure space where decorative objects might be displayed; and a covered walkway alongside the Flower Washing Brook, Huan Hua Xi, that will create small garden spaces and elegant views.
To the west, the design calls for completing the boat-shaped pavilion as a viewing platform. Pathways will meander up the hill to a garden for the display of penjing (Chinese bonsai) with covered corridors and walls punctuated by lattice windows. On the highest point of the hill southwest of the lake there will be a small viewing pavilion with a sweeping view of the garden, the lake, and the San Gabriel Mountains beyond.
For the design, The Huntington’s partnership continues with SILAD and our American contractors, ValleyCrest. The estimated project cost is $22 million to build and $8 million to operate and endow the second phase.
In addition to raising start-up funds, more than 350 tons of Tai Hu–style rock from Jiangsu Province has been imported, courtesy of China Shipping (Group) Co. and the Dedeaux family and DART Trucking Co.

ที่นี่จึงมีไร่ชา โรงอบชา
และร้านจำหน่ายชาหลายสิบร้านเรียงรายบนถนนสายหลัก ที่ผ่านกลางหมู่บ้าน ชาที่มีชื่อเสียงคือ ชาอู่หลงซึ่งมีกลิ่นหอมพิเศษ ต้องมีวิธีการดื่มเฉพาะแบบชาวไต้หวัน ร้านจำหน่ายชาทุกร้าน เช่นวังพุดตาล ร้านชานายพลต้วนจะเชิญชวนให้ผู้มาเยือนได้ทดลองชิมชา พูดคุยสอบถามถึงวิธีการชงชา เลือกซื้อหาชา อุปกรณ์ชงชาแบบต่างๆนอกจากนี้ยังสามารถไปชมไร่ชา การเก็บชา โดยไม่เสียค่าบริการได้อีกด้วย
จังหวัดเชียงราย โดยสำนักงานอุตสาหกรรมจังหวัดเชียงราย ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของการพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมการผลิตชา และข้อมูลที่จำเป็นในการพัฒนาศักยภาพของอุตสาหกรรมดังกล่าว จึงได้จัดทำ "โครงการเชียงรายเมืองแห่งชา" เพื่อเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นในการผลักดันให้จังหวัดเชียงรายมีศักยภาพในความเป็นเมืองแห่งชา (Tea City) ของประเทศ ในการนี้ จึงได้จัดจ้างให้มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงเป็นที่ปรึกษาในการดำเนินงาน ซึ่งได้ดำเนินงานโดยทีมคณะทำงานของสถาบันชา วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อพัฒนาอุตสาหกรรมผลิตชาให้มีศักยภาพในการผลิตเพื่อการส่งออกและกระตุ้นการบริโภคในอนาคต ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่ความสำเร็จที่ยั่งยืนของนโยบายเชียงรายเมืองแห่งชา (Tea City) โดยคำนึกถึงประเด็นหลักดังต่อไปนี้ 1. เพื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมผลิตชาตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ทราบถึงข้อมูลความต้องการของเกษตรผู้ผลิตชา อุตสาหกรรมผลิตชา รวมทั้งช่องทางในการจัดจำหน่ายและผู้บริโภคในแต่ละตลาดเป้าหมาย ทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจซึ่งกันและกันมากยิ่งขึ้น 2. เพื่อให้ภาครัฐสามารถรับทราบข้อมูลความต้องการที่แท้จริงของผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมผลิตชาตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน เพื่อการพัฒนาศักยภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน และสามารถจัดทำนโยบาย รวมทั้งโครงการสนับสนุนอื่น ๆ ให้ได้ตรงประเด็นความต้องการของผู้ประกอบการได้มากยิ่งขึ้น 3. เพื่อให้ผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมผลิตชาตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทานนำข้อมูลดังกล่าวไปพัฒนาศักยภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจของตนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ

ทางภาคเกษตรกรรม , วิเคราะห์สาระสำคัญในใบชาและสมุนไพร พร้อมทั้งการทดลองทางภาคสนามอย่างครบวงจร โดยได้รับความร่วมมือ การทดลองทางวิทยาศาสตร์จากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
